Castor Oil Packs External Remedy

When I was first diagnosed with ovarian cysts, my physician shared with me an old remedy to shrink them that I have since found to be the perfect way to get rid of the cysts and relax at the same time!

Castor Oil has been recommended for treating many ailments that resist traditional therapies. It can be applied as a balm for skin problems, a soothing tonic for alleviating allergies, and as a “castor oil pack.” Known to conventional medicine only as a strong laxative, this extract of the castor bean is a safe, gentle, easy-to-use remedy for virtually any illness-when it is used externally.

What Is a Castor Oil Pack?

A castor oil pack is an external application of castor oil to the body. A piece of wool (or cotton) flannel is saturated with castor oil and applied to a specified area with, or without, heat.

It was recommended, as part of a holistic approach, for epilepsy, gallstones, scleroderma, constipation (and other intestinal conditions)—just to name a few.    (Read More)

Hello, just happen upon your site. My son is 28 years old and has very bad skin problems in the face and back.
His face looks as though it is swollen. I feel bad for him because this is affecting his self-esteem. Do you know of anything that he may use to help with his skin problems. He has very oily skin.

    Thanks

The skin is the biggest organ of our body, and can be a window to things going on inside. How it looks, or it’s overall health, can be affected by environment, diet, hormones, toxins, and other things. I always recommend starting with what we eat/don’t eat, as our food intake can be the thing that determines how our body is operating. Begin by eliminating processed foods and chemicals/toxins, and work on allowing his body to detox anything that is affecting his skin (and overall health). Keeping the liver functioning well is primary in this effort – starting off each day with lemon water is a good place to start. Adding a lot of antioxidants and leafy greens into the diet is very important. After working on this, then you can see how he’s doing and consider other supplementation to help if still necessary.
